just off of route 100 in exton lies a little chinese restaurant called guo's garden with a separate vegetarian menu. this menu is full of mock meats of every variety. a few weeks ago i travelled out to see lisa for another painting session. after missing my exit off the turnpike and nearly running out of gas, i finally made it to our dinner date. i was in miserable shape, but the crisp and doughy scallion pancakes helped a little. the sesame 'chicken' was pretty good too - just your typical processed gluten all battered up and smothered in sweet tangy sauce. not bad to find veganosity out in the boondocks of philadelphia. if i lived in exton, you better know i'd be calling guo once or twice a week for delivery.
